Princeton University Art Museum - KUDOS Design Collaboratory™

We designed various communications for Princeton University throughout the year, from magazines, posters, visitors guide, gallery handouts, special event posters, and annual report.

BRANDING
We refined the museum’s logo to emphasize “Art Museum” in the logotype and developed typography guildelines, campus banners, posters, annual report, brochures, and gallery collaterals.

VISITORS GUIDE
The guide unfolds into a mini poster showcasing key objects in the collection. For the galleries, we designed carry cards to help identify objects and narratives.

POSTERS & BANNERS
We designed a series of exhibition banners and posters throughout the year. A primary color palette, visual pattern, or strong imagery set the tone for the main exhibition in the museum each season.

MAGAZINES
We produced a series of magazines for the art museum throughout the year. The masthead changes color, depending on the main exhibition every season. What started with an oversized newsletter format eventually reduced to a more conventional bound magazine format, but printed in full colors, keeping the production cost comparable.

ANNUAL REPORT
We designed the first annual report for Princeton University Art Museum. We used large numbers on the back cover to provide quick snapshot of advancement throughout the year. In addition to the charts, we used exhibition and event photos to provide visual interests.
