Ichijigahaku (Artist for a Day) is a non-profit workshop started by group of artists in Tokyo led by Manika Nagare.
The workshop connects volunteering artists with children in Tohoku perfecture, one of areas hardest hit by the tsunami disaster in March 2011. The goal is to touch their hearts and provide relief from the distressed daily lives.
The logo is formed by colorful dots interconnected by grey lines. The concept’s simplicity allows for various colorful interpretations for each workshop depending on the activity and audience.
